STRANGE, AMAZING AND WEIRD LAWS IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES



The main purpose of law is for establishing standards, maintaining orders, protecting liberties and resolving disputes. All countries around the world have formulated laws for these purposes only. However, we can also find strange, amazing and weird laws in different parts of the world. Some such laws are given below alongwith the name of the country that framed such laws.

SWITZERLAND
Flushing of toilets after 10.00 pm is a strict regulation in Switzerland on account of sound pollution. People may better finish the toilet business before ten.

ITALY
Men wearing skirts is a serious offence and could lead to arrest in Italy.

USA (Ohio)
The law of the police department of Ohio allows to bite a dog if they think it would help the canine calm down 

KENYA & UAE
These countries have stringent rules against offensive gestures and swearing. Offenders can be imprisoned and deported as the case may be.

W. AUSTRALIA
Maximum amount of potatoes one can possess at a time is 50 kg. Anything above found is illegal and liable to be punished severely.

EGYPT
Belly dance is illegal for men in Egypt.

USA (Washington)
Motorists with criminal intentions driving through the city limits of Washington must call the Police Chief before entering the city.

FRANCE
Kissing is prohibited in trains in France. But it's allowed in railway stations before the arrival of the train.

AUSTRALIA
Disturbing wedding and funeral service are serious offences and can lead to ban from all social events, fine of $10,000 or two years imprisonment.

THAILAND
It's a legal requirement that every one must wear underwear before leaving the house.

SRI LANKA
Taking selfie in front of the idols of Lord Buddha and wearing Budha tattoos are illegal.
