COVID DEATH AND DIVINE INTERFERENCE

Image
While  reviewing the world population prospects since 2000, we can find that the death rate is constantly decreasing upto 2018. In fact death rate declined from 12.3% (per 1000 population) in 1971 to 7.6% in 2021. Since 2019, due to the outburst of COVID 19 the death rate have been slightly increased in 2019, 2020 and 2021. However, surprisingly, the growth rate had quick leap from -0.320 in 2018 to 0.440 in 2019 and 2020 and to 0.430 in 2021. This is not a man made arrangement. We may find from these accounts that the nature is balancing the population with perfect accuracy. We may call this Super Intelligence in perfect population management by Nature or God. INDIA TODAY AND INDIA TOMORROW

Image
Why  India is not a developed country? What is that we are lacking here? Why so much of corruption here? We ask such so many questions to ourselves. There is only one answer. We don't prepare ourselves or we don't look at tomorrow. We just look at what is at hand. See whether these statements are correct or not. Why so much of corruption here? Because we don't teach our children not to be corrupt. Why our politics have become so dirty? Because we don't teach our children about clean politics. Why religious interference is there in every aspect of our lives? Because our children do not know who is God and what is religion.  Why so much of indiscipline in our country? Because we don't teach our children what is discipline and what is necessity. Why our women are unsafe in our country? Because we don't teach our children to protect our mother, sister and daughter. Why don't we keep all around us clean? Because we don't teach our children to keep

HISTORY OF POLICE

Image
(19th century Mogul Fouzdar) The known beginning of police was sometime in BC during the Pharaoh in Egypt. Pharaoh had divided the entire empire into different administrative zones. Each of the zone was entrusted with security personnel to ensure justice. And that must be the first police in the world. The London Marine Police Force is said to be the first modern police force in the world. King Louis XIV in 1666 in Paris established efficient modern police system. Russia has the highest number of police in the world - 546 per lakh of population. The British Raj introduced the Indian Council Act 1861. This has created the professionalised  police bureaucracy in India. Indian Imperial Police and National Police Academy are the out come of this act. India's police strength in 2010 was 129 per lakh of population. In a list 50 countries India was second lowest. Only Uganda was below. In 19th century under British rule police force came into existence in Travancore. Oliv

MEDIAN AGE OF SELECTED COUNTRIES 2022

We  may find below the median age of some selected countries. While it is Niger with 15.4 years holds the lowest median age in the world, Monaco with 53.1 years is the highest. It is the median age of a country that determines the strength of the man power. If the country with low median age get adequate resources and  proper governance, development will be unbound. K RAIL - YES OR NO?

Image
K RAIL has created confusion among a good number of people. Whether it is mere confusion or reality is yet to be confirmed. The only significance of this project is fast rail transport for a negligible section of people. Other than this K Rail  does not contribute much for the development of the state either  in the form of employment, infrastructure development useful for common man or GDP pci of the state. On the other hand it may create huge economic burden on the entire people of the state. The state is already shouldering unbearable financial liability. In fact the government is finding it hard to meet the day to day expenditure like salary and wages, maintenance of  roads and many other areas. With the available information, if the project is completed strictly within the scheduled time, the project expenditure is certainly going to be over one lakh crore rupees, according to different experts. While this K Rail is a fast train service within the state of Kerala, the

COMMERCIAL ADs MUST CONTAIN PRODUCT PRICE

Image
Plenty of commercial ads are appeared in print and visual media every day. Most of these ads do not contain the price of the product displayed. What is the necessity of hiding the price from the prospective buyers? If we have the resources to find the cost of a product and compare the same with the sales price, we can find a huge difference from the two. It is much higher in the case of medicine. Trusting a detailed report appeared in a Malayalam daily sometime back, the sales price is higher by 10 to 12 times more than the cost. Since our law don't have adequate provisions to check this tendency it goes unchallenged. However the government can introduce a law for displaying the price of the product advertised both in print and visual media. It would be helpful for the buyers in picking their choices through ads. LESS KNOWN FROM PAPAL HISTORY

Image
St Peter was assumed as pope in AD 30. Remained in the papal reign upto AD 64/68. The successor: Bishop of Rome (according to tradition) Linus. Bishop of Antioch (according to tradition) Evodius. As per the Annuaro Pontifico, the Papel Annual, there have been 260 Pope's since St Peter. (This number is not confirmed on all accounts) Pope Pius IX (1792- 1878) was the Pope of Catholic Church from 1846 to 1878, the longest in the papal reign. The Popes who were on the shortest period in the papal reign were: Pope Stephen II from March 24 to 26 in AD 742 Pope Leo IX from April 1 to 12 in April 1605 Pope Urban VII from 15 to 27 September 1590. Shortest reigning Pope in 20th century was Pope John Paul I. He became Pope on 26th August 1978 but remained in the reign only until his death 33 days later.  Pope Benedict IX (1012-1056) was the Bishop of Rome and the ruler of the Papal State. On three occasions between October 1032 and July 1048, aged approximately 20 years when he be

MORE REVENUE FROM GST!

Image
According  to media reports GOI has decided to increase the rate of GST of 143 items from 18% to 28%, a flat 10%. We may remember that there was a time when sales tax rate was 10% or below. Before increasing tax, the governments, whether state or central, may know that they are taking away part of the daily wages of a good number of people. If the government could enhance there earning by any extent and pick a share, it could be affordable. On the other hand without giving anything, drawing out from what little bit they have, looks to be too harsh. Instead of playing on tax, why not all state and central governments try to produce more, sell more and earn more from international markets as well as from indigenous buyers. We have more than enough resources to produce more. We need not look for a new product of high technology. We can pick products from the existing market, make improvements if necessary, sell at throw away prices within the purview of international law. For

UNCHALLENGEABLE MEMORY!

Image
Alex Mullen  the 24 year old medical student from USA won the World Memory Championship in Chengdu, China in 2016. In the final round, however, he was 300 points behind Marein Wallonius from Sweden. All he had to do was to memorize the order of an entire deck of cards in 23 seconds or less. He did it in 21.5 seconds. Mullen became the first American to win the World Memory Championship. He also holds the Guinness World Record  for most numerical digits memorized in an hour: 3,029. Mullen claims there's nothing super human about his brain - that growing up, he always had an 'average' memory. He says, "I felt frustrated; I was always cramming for tests and forgetting everything instantly." He started by reading a Bill Gates favourite: Joshua Foer's Moonwalking with Einstein: The Art and Science of Remembering Everything. " I was hooked from the beginning," Mullen said. " I couldn't believe I'd never heard about this stuff."

THE STORY OF PETROL

Image
Petrol is the one that changed the fortunes of many countries and countless number of people around the world. No one went after this all essential oil but it came by its own. In 1847James Young, a Scottish Chemist, accidentally discovered petrol. He noticed a natural petroleum seepage in Riddings colliery at Alfreton, Derbyshire from which he distilled a light thin oil suitable for use as lamp oil, at the same time obtaining a thicker oil suitable for using as a lubricating agent for machinery. However Edwin Drake's 1859 well near Titusville, Pennsylvania is generally considered as the first modern well. In 1858 Georg Christian Hunaus had found a significant amount of petroleum while drilling for lignite in 1858 in Wietze, Germany. Oil was used since long for lamps. In the known history. The first oil well was drilled in China in 347 AD. In the modern era the first oil well was drilled at a depth of 280 ft in Trinidad in 1857 by the American Merrimac Company. The first

OUR PARENTS ARE IN OLD AGE HOMES

Image
Parents  have no wealth left with them but children have enough wealth with them. Parents have poor health but children have sound health. When these two combinations strike well, normally, parents are shunted out of own home and thrown to distant old age homes. As per available information there are 621 registered old age homes in Kerala as on December 2019. There are 18,008 inmates in these homes. Among them 8,695 are females and 9,313 males. The records show that these fathers and mothers have an average of 6 to 7 children and most of them are well settled. A report by Mathrubhumi reveals that a mother belonging to central region of Kerala who was retired from government service was landed in a old age home through her brother settled in abroad as her son who is very well off refused to take care of her. Among the total number of old age homes, Ernakulam top the list with 127 centres with over 3,400 inmates, followed by Thrissur with 99 centres accomodating over 2,500 ol

DO WE TRY TO CORRECT GOD?

Image
If  we ask ourselves this question; do we try to correct God, the answer would be, yes we do. Every prayer of ours is a prayer for correction. While we believe that God is the creator of everything and all knowledge, intelligence and wisdom are originated from Him, we forget these when pray.  We may belong to any religion and we  may find God in any form as prescribed by the scriptures of our religion. When we make our personal prayer to the Supreme One it is same with everyone who believes in Him. If we find the brief concept of each prayer, it would be like this: 'God, please don't do what you are doing now, but kindly do what I am telling you now. When we pray for a house to the Almighty One, we tell Him all the details we want about the house. When suggest all about the construction to Him, we ignore the truth that  it is He who have designed and constructed countless number of stars and all else in the universe including time. Still we tell Him I don't want

HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS IN CHINA

Image
(Mostly students gathered at the Tianenman Square before the massacre by the Chinese government) Wherever  in the world human beings are the same. Their basic needs too are the same. The modern order of the world has brought up social establishments to standardise the needs and comforts for everyone. Different countries have opted for different economic systems. As per the system people elect their representatives to manage the whole affairs of the society. The long run of this system has made misconceptions among the elevated representatives. In many societies it is taken for granted that these representatives cannot be questioned and all their actions should be approved by the society. Of late it has become a practice that anyone questions the wrong doings of these authoritarian rulers are eradicated. This is now happened in China. People are made to be silent. What was happened in Tiananmen Square in China in 1989 against the students protest was one of the most inhuman

(The images of the Shroud of                               Turin)       (Regular viewers earlier)                                     Shroud of Turin is a 14 ft linen cloth that covered the body of Jesus. This was first found in Lirey, France in 1350s. There is no record to show how it reached there. This is seen as an authentic burial shroud of Jesus Christ by every Christians and and also by many historians. However, the Pope Clement VII in 1389 declared that the shroud was not the burial cloth of Jesus Christ. Inspite of this the Pope have permission to the Lirey church to display  it to public. The shroud had undergone a good number of scientific tests and there were mysterious findings. It was scientifically found that the image belonged a crucified man. The shroud had undergone Carbon-14 test to detect how old was the linen cloth, the blood Mark on the cloth etc. The results of such tests were positive. Last time it was placed fo

RETURN TO LIFE AFTER DEATH

Image
Death  is a certainty of life. All born shall die. No medicine and no science can save any life forms from death. Every human is believed to have three certain elements, physical body, life and soul. Some do not believe in the third element. Death takes place when life depart the body. Soon after life depart the body becomes motionless and begin to decompose. This is the way of the nature to  dispose off the body. Large amount of tiny creatures are formed within the body and eat out the flesh quite fast and leave the bones. It takes a short span of time for all humans whether king or soldier, big or small, famous or infamous, beautiful or ugly, fatty or lean to become uniform in shape; skeleton. What happens after death? We shall look at some cases of return to life after death. What they said about the experience during the intermittent period between life and death are quoted below. 1. "I woke up in what looked like space but there weren't any stars or light. I w
