SWEEP CORRUPTION - PUNJAB MODEL

It may be the first time in modern India that a state Chief Minister sending his own Minister to the jail on corruption charges. The sacked minister is reported to have sought one per cent commission from a sanctioned contract. It is the Chief Minister himself took the initiative to send the accused to the jail. While assuming the office the CM had promised the state that he would not allow any corruptive practice in his state by whomsoever it may be. And now he has proved worth of his words.

This is what the people all over the country expect from all rulers, whether from the centre or the state. Let this remain as a model for chief ministers of all states.

The people of the whole country may like to stand and salute the trustworthy act of the Punjab Chief Minister.
