JELLY FISH
Is jelly fish a life form? Yes, it is totally a life form. It is a natural living animal. It is nearly related to corals and sea anemones. Though these are multi cellular marine animals, they do not have brain and heart but feel the world around by a simple set of nerves. They eat, drink, feel and reproduce. About 95% of the body consists of water. It is made of cells and need food for energy and growth. Though they are called fish, they do not fall in the category of fish but are invertebrates. They too have a uniform shape called radial symmetry. The weight of jelly fish is widely varying from a few grams upto around 200 kg. People do eat jelly fish. Those are widely used as a delicate item in China, Japan, Korea , Thailand etc and in some other countries too. Jelly fish are found more in coastal zones and warm tropical sea.
Since jelly fish are easy to catch, many fishes eat them in good quantity. As these are mainly containing water and hav stinging cells, they produce good meals with fatty acids many varieties of fishes prefer those. Tuna, grey trigger fish, mackerel, butter fish etc also like to eat jelly fish.
