EINSTEIN'S BRAIN WAS STOLEN

(Dr Thomas Harvey with Albert         Einstein's brain in a glass jar)

It is no joke!  Something that really happened.

Albert Einstein died on 18 April 1955 at the age of 76 (1879-1955).
The German born theoretical physicist died due to abdominal aortic aneurysm burst, creating internal bleeding and severe pain. He died in the Princeton Hospital, New Jersey. The body was cremated as per his will and the ashes scattered on the ground of the Institute of Advanced Studies, Princeton.

During the autopsy of the body of Einstein, Princeton pathologist Dr Thomas Harvey removed his  famous brain. After getting the reluctant approval from Einstein's son, Dr Harvey cut the brain into pieces and sent to various scientists for research. The most famous outcome of the research came from the Canadian University, claiming that Einstein possessed unusual folds on his parietal lobe, a part of the brain associated with mathematical and spatial ability. Einstein's brain was rediscovered in Dr Harvey's possession by journalist Steven Levy in 1978. Both his eyes removed could never be recovered.
