Total Covid 19 cases in the world as on the midday of 31.05.2020 is 61,61,485  and the death is 3,71,016. This makes 790 cases and 48 deaths per million population. Let us now have a look at some countries at random. Total countries infected are 215 as of now.

It can be found from this table that there are wide variation from countries in infection and mortality per million population. While Spain has the highest rate of infection and mortality, China remains the lowest. The difference is of huge numbers.  This factor certainly warrant to find the exact reason behind it. Whether it is geographic including climatic conditions, food habits of the people, effective preventive measures by the administration and the people together or any othr reasons is to be investigated. If this could be identified by the concerned authorities, some effective check can be made in future cases of infection and mortality.
