For  quite sometime our mode of protest remains the same. We the people as a whole of some regions confront with some serious problems and then look at each other's faces and remain there murmering something. Some fellow suddenly arrive at the scene. He places himself at some tall spot and start delivering a speech by accusing some departments and officials. By the time some of his chelas reach  with some flags. The neta  then form a procession and leads the affected people to some offices and shout big slogans. At the office the  neta gives some threatening speech. It continues for a day or two. The people are normally led to stop vehicular traffic, forcefully down the shutters of all shops of the area. And it continues for two or three days. Police arrives the place and arrest some people. During 2022 the revenue from tourism to the state is USD 552.69 million (Rs 4,500 crores) Projected earnings from Tourism in top countries of the world are: (In billion USD) USA - 190.4 China - 154.1 Germany - 66.23 Japan - 40.28 UK - 39.14 (Published by Statista Research Department on March 15, 2023) From the above list it could be found that how paltry is the earnings from Tourism in Kerala in comparison with the above countries. Our concerned departments and tourism specialists may have enough explanations to substantiate our poor performance. However, before straightening our backborn we must ask ourselves about what we have done to enhance the revenue from tourism. Many of us feel that we are misunderstood by others. Those include our own family members, our close friends and relatives, our superiors and coworkers and the list may go on and on. For quite sometime the fishing community in Kerala have been trying to highlight their adversity at various levels. Unfortunately no one could offer a lasting solution for these. The ship is likely to be docked there by 11th. It may be the first time in modern India that a state Chief Minister sending his own Minister to the jail on corruption charges. The sacked minister is reported to have sought one per cent commission from a sanctioned contract. It is the Chief Minister himself took the initiative to send the accused to the jail. While assuming the office the CM had promised the state that he would not allow any corruptive practice in his state by whomsoever it may be. And now he has proved worth of his words. Media  have two ways to get to the people. One is, reach the people where they are. The other is bring the people where the media is. In the earlier times the former method was preferred but now it is the latter. So long as public activities are there news is part of it. According to various web sources, about 73,000 cases are pending in the Supreme Court of India. In all Indian courts put together,  over 44 million cases are pending. As on Jan 2021  there are 1,05,560 cases of those are 30 years old. Less than the required number of courts must be one of the reasons for the huge amount of pending cases.   As per available information there are 204,096 courts in China, 67,994 in Russia and 29,023 in USA. In  India  there are  25 High Courts other than the Supreme Court. Altogether there are 23,790 judges. The reasons for such amount of pending cases are said to be the following. A view of Highway 10 of Saudi Arabia.      The entrance of NH 44 in J&K A private road, Highway 10 connecting Highway 75 in the Haradh area to Highway 95 in the West of Saudi Arabia  built for King Fahad has a length of 240 km. This link highway pass through the desert with no bend on either side. It also has no any considerable  gradient up or down. According to reports a 13 years old Dalit girl was lured by four youths and took her away out of her house and she was gang raped by these atrocious human beasts. The poor girl at her worst physical condition went to the nearest police station in a town in UP to lodge the complaint. What was that happened afterwards is unbelievable. The Station House Officer of the police station alongwith five cops were arrested on charge of raping the 13 years old Dalit girl in the police station where she came to lodge the complaint of the gang rape by four youth.
