ARE YOU AN UNEMPLOYED ENGINEERING GRADUATE?

By the end of 2019 there were about 36.26 lakhs people remain unemployed in Kerala. According to a study covering 2,600 engineering graduates by the All India Professional Congress, Kerala chapter, it is hard to find for engineering graduates a job suits their qualifications. The study reveals that 25% engineering graduates are unemployed and 66% attend to non-engineering jobs. In the case of salary  domestic servants in Kerala get better salary than entry level engineers. Lack of industries in Kerala is the prime constraint for this. No government has programs to address this issue in the near future. Hence they themselves have to find ways and means to make them engaged to find a good earning. You may be able to find many avenues towards this direction. Some can be suggested here.

Initially about five to six of you or may be more may join together and draw a project. Any of the following can be looked into.

1. Non conventional energy.
2. Flowing industrial waste to water sources is a serious issue now. Try to convert this liquid waste into solid materials depending upon the contents of the waste.
3. In the coming time there will be huge number of electrically driven automobiles will be on our roads. All these vehicles will need batteries. Try to introduce batteries that will be durable and give a mileage of around 500 to 600 km per charge.
4. Try whether you can conceive a system by which magnetic power could be redirected and focused to a distant target. If achieved it will have wide variety of applications.
5. Find out cheaper means to convert sea water into drinking water with less than 50 ppm. (Desalination technology)
6. Wider applications for solar energy.
7. Faster, efficient and compact cleaning equipments for buses and trains.
8. Cheap and strong construction methods for small aesthetic houses.

Don't worry about money. When you are ready with the project there can be many investors. Always maintain absolute honesty in every aspect.

Be bold, confident, result oriented and have broad out look; the world will unroll red carpet for you.
