THANUR BOAT TRAGEDY, AFTER EFFECT OF CORRUPTION

If the media reports can be believed Thanur boat tragedy is an after effect of corruption. Various government departments including police have brought to the notice of the concerned officials about different irregularities from time to time about the boat involved in the accident. Since the authorities concerned seemed to have not taken any corrective measures, some malpractices can be suspected. With the existing intelligence network each concerned official can be identified. If such people are caught, there would be several interference to save the culprits. Such amount of human lives may not matter for them. Such nasty humans are only concerned with money.

However, within our existing socio-political system, if some strong Association and a few media can pursue the matter constantly it may produce some results. If we fail to expose the delinquents at least in this case, better we admit corruption openly and prepare for similar happenings again and again.

Of late it has been reported that the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala has voluntarily filed a case in this painful accident. The people shall be thankful to the judiciary.
