THE TEN COMMANDMENTS - LAW OF GOD OR LAW OF MOSES.

"Then the Lord said to Moses, Put these words in writing, as terms of the covenant I am making, with thee and with Israel." (Exodus 34:27). According to this verse of the Old Testament the Ten Commandments are the commandments of God the Father given to man.

Now let us see what Lord Jesus Christ said about the vision of God. "You have always been deaf to his voice, blind to the vision of him."
(John 5:37)

("Not that anyone has seen the Father, except him who comes from God; he alone has seen the Father) - John 6:46.

Further to these Jesus Christ gives two commandments superceding all earlier commandments.
"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart and thy whole soul and thy whole mind. This is the greatest of the commandments, and the first. And the second, its like, is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments, all the law and the prophets depend."
(Mathew 22:37-40)

Despite Jesus establishes in unequivocal terms the prime law for thos who wish to follow Him, we the so called Christians are adamant to hold alive the law of Moses above the law of Jesus Christ.

This is not intended to accuse or refine anyone but to seek to relook into it.
