Sunday New York Times
The most massive single issue of a newspaper was the 14 September 1987 edition of the Sunday New York Times which weighed more than 5kg and contained 1612 pages.

India
India has the world's largest number of paid newspapers. It was 5767 in 2013 and 7871 in 2015.

Total circulation
According to a 2005 finding China topped the list in term of total newspaper circulation with 93.5 million a day followed by India with with 78.8 million, Japan with 70.4 million, USA with 48.3 million and Germany with 22.1 million.

The first newspaper
The very first instance of newspaper  was commissioned by Julius Caesar in 59 BC and it was a daily list of announcements that was carved into metal or stone and displayed publicly.

Most reliable
The Times is the most trusted national newspaper in Britain.
