ALL ROUND CORRUPTION

Image
Cho Ramaswamy  said once that corruption is an accepted philosophy of the Indian society. It must be a truth. We Indians, it seems, are not at all bothered about the all round corruption in our country. Many of our parliamentarians or legislative members are charged with criminal offences by police and cases are pending in various courts of the country. And they are the people formulating the law for us. Neither the government, nor the political parties are doing anything effectively to prevent corruption. Many of our politicians have publicly expressed that huge black money belonging to Indians are deposited in foreign banks. No one, it seems, is interested to repatriate this money back to India. Surprisingly, if brought, this money would be enough to eradicate poverty of millions of Indians. Unfortunately, no one is bothered about the poverty of Indians. The huge price rises, substandard quality and widespread adulteration are the after effects of corruption. It is th...

DOES CONFESSION GRANT FORGIVENESS?

Image
Nowhere  in the four gospels one can find Jesus asking the people to confess before Him. His disciples too had not practiced confessions for forgiveness of sins. From the very early days man has been doing sacrifices of birds and animals for forgiveness of sin. Moses had placed Ten Commandments before the people to keep themselves clean. When none of these could yield the desired results God punished man by the deluge of Noah and the fire at Sodom Gomorrah. Despite all these man continued with his wrong doings. The supreme justice of the Almighty One took the responsibility of the sinful actions of man on Himself and He repented. And that repentance resulted into the Supreme Sacrifice of Lord Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary and the entire humanity has been redeemed from the clutches of sin. Sacrifice of God Himself was the final means of forgiveness of sins. Anyone who believes this sacrifice for himself shall be redeemed from all his sins. This is what Jesus taugh...

EINSTEIN'S BRAIN WAS STOLEN

Image
(Dr Thomas Harvey with Albert         Einstein's brain in a glass jar) It is no joke!   Something that really happened. Albert Einstein died on 18 April 1955 at the age of 76 (1879-1955). The German born theoretical physicist died due to abdominal aortic aneurysm burst, creating internal bleeding and severe pain. He died in the Princeton Hospital, New Jersey. The body was cremated as per his will and the ashes scattered on the ground of the Institute of Advanced Studies, Princeton. During the autopsy of the body of Einstein, Princeton pathologist Dr Thomas Harvey removed his  famous brain. After getting the reluctant approval from Einstein's son, Dr Harvey cut the brain into pieces and sent to various scientists for research. The most famous outcome of the research came from the Canadian University, claiming that Einstein possessed unusual folds on his parietal lobe, a part of the brain associated with mathematical and spatial ab...
