DO WE NEED A POLITICAL CHANGE IN KERALA?

The answer is undoubtedly an 'Yes'! For about the past seven decades we Malayalees eat, drink and breath politics. We have been playing with two groups of people; one is LDF and the other is UDF. Despite having adequate infrastructure and qualified young man power these political parties could not provide the required economic growth to the people. Even now we are far below in the per capita income of the people comparing to the middle class countries of the world. Of late the media have brought out unprecedented stories of corruption at various political level. The financial resources have been choked for quite sometime. Our educated youth are flooding from the country for survival.

We must now look for a change. All those socioeconomic system tried and tested in the state level or in the national level could not provide anything commendable for the people. Now it may not be worth waiting for a quantum leap from those. In the recent past a newly established party has shown some visible results in the Panchayat level in Ernakulam district. The Panchayat which is reported to have in red over Rs30 lakhs in 2015 is now have a safe balance of Rs 22 crores according to various reports. The Panchayat also have made a good number of houses for the poor, good length of roads have been built, lights have been provided throughout their region and such so many other things in the Panchayat. There is department store with quality material at cheaper rates for the people. Rice which is available in the open market for over Rs 50/- per kg available there for Rs28/-. All kitchen materials are available there at low price. They are also reported to be opening a medical store there. Medicine will be available there at considerably low price.

It is a matter of fact that our political ideologies could fetch nothing for the people of Kerala. Can we not dispense with the outdated political philosophies and look for alternative corruption free governance in the state of Kerala. We can expect this from the tried and tested Twenty 20 party. They have very well proven this at the Panchayat level. Let us give an opportunity for them to repeat their success in the state level too.
