THE PATHETIC STATE OF SYRO MALABAR CHURCH

"Therefore, if you offer your gift at the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there, before the altar, and go first to be reconciled to your brother, and then you may approach and offer your gift." (Mathew 5:23-24)

With heartfelt pain I am constrained to write this. This is neither against the Church nor against any individual but I strictly feel bad about the hierarchical system that try to mislead millions of faithful followers of Jesus Christ. Of late we find that two groups have been developed in Syro Malabar Church. While one say the Holy Mass should be performed in a particular way, the other say no to it. This is just the dispute. Either side is not prepared to concede a little. And the Church is at the verge of a split.

The form of mass we have today was promulgated by Pope Paul VI on 3 April 1969. And now we want to refine to the modern level. What for? For man's convenience or God's acceptance? In fact Jesus Christ has not ever established any Holy Mass. It is nothing but a hierarchical creation. Jesus has not taught even a prayer for the common man. The Lord has asked us to get into a room, close the door and pray to our Father
The Father reads our hearts will certainly answer to our prayers. Contrary to this hierarchy has made it mandatory that the common folk should pray what they teach.

The Sacrament of Confession itself is an open expression of our disbelief in Jesus Christ. God Himself has become man and sacrificed Himself for the forgiveness of the sins of man. Anyone who believe this sacrifice for the remission of their own
sins shall have forgiveness. This is taught us by Jesus with His life. But we don't seek forgiveness from the crucified Christ, instead, go to the priest seeking forgiveness. There is clear evidence to show that none get forgiveness this way. If a priest moving away after having confession of so much people, so energetically, it shows that the priest doesn't carry the sins of so much people. No human can carry such amount of negative energy and walk away so freely. Another evidence is that if a sick one confesses and remain sick after confession, it shows that person has not got relief.of sins.

Jesus Christ must be a stranger in today's Christianity. Today's Church has turned to a commercial establishment and a political institution. It is beyond rectification. How shameful for the Church to prevent the Priests and the believers from entering a church to perform prayers on the one side and on the other a church is locked by police and no one is able to get it reopened.

Who is responsible for these? The hierarchy alone!
