YOUR POSSESSION

Image
The most precious for you in the world now is the air in your lungs. If it leaves, you are no more. And that belonged to someone else little earlier and again it will move into someone else soon. Every possession of ours is like this.                ++++++ The physical body we have is our identity. In the absence of this we remain as a memory. This body may be very strong or very beautiful. Others may like to remain close to it. Before forming in this body it came from the soil of the earth some particles of it might have come from home waste, animal or human bodies, dirty water, beautiful flowers and so on. After sometime it will become something like those.                   ++++++     When we meet people it can be our first meeting in our lives. We can offer them a memorable smile. And when we meet someone it can be our last meeting. Let us give them enough love.     ...

RETURN TO LIFE AFTER DEATH

Image
Death  is a certainty of life. All born shall die. No medicine and no science can save any life forms from death. Every human is believed to have three certain elements, physical body, life and soul. Some do not believe in the third element. Death takes place when life depart the body. Soon after life depart the body becomes motionless and begin to decompose. This is the way of the nature to  dispose off the body. Large amount of tiny creatures are formed within the body and eat out the flesh quite fast and leave the bones. It takes a short span of time for all humans whether king or soldier, big or small, famous or infamous, beautiful or ugly, fatty or lean to become uniform in shape; skeleton. What happens after death? We shall look at some cases of return to life after death. What they said about the experience during the intermittent period between life and death are quoted below. 1. "I woke up in what looked like space but there weren't any stars or light. I w...

DEAR PARENTS OF SCHOOL AND COLLEGE GOING CHILDREN ...

Image
"We must have life-building, man-making, charector- making  assimilation of ideas. If you have accumulated five ideas and made them your life and charector, you have more education than any man who has got by heart a whole library ... " Swami Vivekananda. My dear parents, the fellow Indians, whose children are going to schools and colleges in India, must spare a few minutes to go through this brief write up. Political parties have deeply penetrated into our educational system for quite sometime. They have used different avenues like religion, money, power politics etc for this. Politics have changed the system of education in schools and colleges quite rapidly. Education through prescribed syllabus have given way to political ideologies. Impatience, indiscipline, indecency, fight between students, stabbing of  teachers, killing of other students etc are now practiced in good number of colleges in different parts of our country. The parents must think the purpose o...

GOD , RELIGION AND THE MODERNN SOCIETY

Image
Religion is nothing but a path towards God.  Now the meaning itself of God has been redifined and many of the religions have moved away from their destined path towards wealth, power , protection and self defence. After ensuring their own protection, many of them tend to move towards the weaker one in the society to eliminate them. Many of us are reluctant to understand the one God principle. By convention we believe that our God is the only One and the right One. It may be beyond human correction. Almost everyone may convincingly or otherwise explain that his God is the right One and other's is the wrong one. There is only One God who has created the entire universe, every life form including you and me is uniformly agreeable too. However, the One shaped and painted by many of his predecessors is carried by the living one. Therefore, it is impossible even dare to analyse it. The priesthood of some of these religions are not interested to enter into an open discus...

HOMELESS DEVELOPMENT OF OUR COUNTRY

Image
(People sleeping on roadside during extreme winter nights in New Delhi. Image courtesy, Times of India) Time and again we Indians hear loud proclamations by our rulers about our achievements. Of course, the people are proud of it too. It is high time that we should see whether these achievements are reaching uniformly to all Indians. For instance if we take our pci/ppp it may look to be presentable to the world, though remains at low ranking. But things get worse if we remove the earnings of just thousand richest ones from the whole 1.5 billion population. Our street beggers, patients heaped in the hospital verandas, those sleeping in the way side during extreme winter etc tell us a much different story. While the haves are moving at a pace of 1,2,4,8,16,32 rates the have nots are stagnated at 1,1.5,1,1.5,1,1.5 rates. Should we not look at the lower strata of the society too? However, fortunately for some and unfortunately for many, we Indians are well prepared to suffer an...

WHAT IS GOD'S BLESSING

Image
We all pray God irrespective of our religious faith. Some may get return and some others not. Most of us pray for money, comfort or success. Our prayers should not be confined to words. It must be by action. See prayer always like an action and reaction. For instance you may find a hungry one asking money for food. You have three options with you. Give the one some money or provide a cup of tea and few biscuits or take the one to a hotel and offer the person lavish food. This action of yours determines how the Supreme One respond to your prayer. If you keep this principle in mind when someone approaches you for money, food, cloth or any other form of  help, see it is a mere query from the Great One to you, "Hai, dear! What do you want from me?". Give the answer by your action. Then there will be instant reaction. Just believe that every person coming to you for helping is a blessing of God. If you strictly adhere to this, your life will be brightened soon! K V Geo...

WHAT SHOULD WE DO FOR OUR FELLOW BEINGS

Image
The estimated population of the world as of 2025 is about 8.3 billion people. All that we are enjoying today are the outcome of the hardwork of countless number of people. Even every grain of rice coming to our plates are the result of many thousands of people. When we get sick we take medicine and get healed. There may be the efforts of generations behind every tablet or every drop of medicine that comfort us. Each one of us are highly indebted to many people lived here or living here. Are we thankful to those humans? Do we ever think about them? Now, coming back to us. We are in this world, may be, for a few decades. If we look at our story, have we got anything in our mind that is worth to mention that we have done for our fellow beings. When we pass away from here, how many around us and how long will remember us. Have we ever fed a hungry stranger with enough food? Have we ever sent sufficient food to a poor family of your area? Have we ever asked a tired poor one whet...

DEMOCRATIC INDIA - IS SO DEMOCRATIC ?

Image
India is said to be the largest democracy in the world. The word 'largest' stands in terms of population. There are 167 countries that follow the path of democracy. India ranks 108th on Electoral Democracy Index 2023. In fact democracy in India is strictly confined to voting in elections at various levels. Earlier it was manual casting of votes and now it is by using electronic voting machines. The following countries only use EVM for national elections. Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, DR of Congo, Estonia, India, Philippines, UAE and Venezuela. USA use manual casting of votes they use some electronic scan tabulator system for counting of votes. However, despite all so called convenience, as per available information, countries like UK, France, Germany, Australia, Japan, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, New Zealand etc are not using EVMs for national elections. These countries may have their own reasons for rejecting Electronic Voting. EVM was first used in India in the By-elect...

ARE HUMANS DUTY BOUND IN THIS WORLD?

Image
(Image courtesy - Pinterest) Man is not at all duty bound in this world. The reason is simple, there is no duty prescribed for man by anyone above man. All the so called 'dos and the not dos' are prescribed by fellow beings within the purview of different norms, which might be conflicting with one another.  All good and bad are defined by both good and bad men. In fact where we have come from or where we have to go back is unknown to us.  We are not ours. We do not know much about our physical body. We cannot see it well. We do not know much about its functions. If it goes out we cannot rectify it; need someone's help. Above that, we know almost nothing about the central control system we have. Even the best could not use one third of it. It gets interference from, may be, out side the system. When we know almost nothing about ourselves, we pretend to act as if we know much about others and other things. And we like to rule all those. Sheer ignorance, but unrealised...
