When there are many countries in the world where political parties are banned, we Indians are so liberal in nurturing over 2,700 political parties in our country. The growth of these parties are arranged through our campus. As a result strike, hartal, bundh, road blocks, shop closes, school and college bundh and all sorts of protests are common here. There may not be a single day when no such protests are taking place in any part of the country. Let's recall here the 1989 Tiananmen Square protest where over 20,000 people were killed including onlookers. Politics in Indian colleges and schools, it can be safely assumed, provide training to cause destruction to public properties, wound and kill fellow students and teachers.
