BRIBERY - STOP TALKING ABOUT; TRY TO ACT FAST

India has become notorious for the corruption activities in our government offices. There are middle men in corruption transactions. They use to say, if money is available, nothing is impossible in our government offices. Bribe  deals are so widespread in our government offices. No result oriented preventive steps are being taken by the people or by the government. It's really a pathetic situation. We cannot afford to continue like this. We must do something on red hot priority.

Can we enact the following?

1. Stringent punishment should be ensured. If a government employee is found accepting bribe, such one should be dismissed from service forth with irrespective of the amount received. Further to this year 10 times of the amount involved should be taken from the culprit as fine. The culprits should also put behind bars for a minimum period of ten years.

2. The subject 'bribery' should be treated as a social vice and included in the school syllabus from Class 4 to Class 12.

3. Antibribery discourse should be arranged in every government office by reputed persons twice in an year.

4. Employees should be given opportunities to report secretly about bribery activities of their fellow staff to the nearest vigilance office.

5. Vigilance officials to be booked and suspended for long term if they show leniency towards corrupt employees.

6. Our media should try to expose every incident of corruption and every detail of persons involved.

Let us try to be a corruption free country.
