When we say someone is our best friend, such person should certainly have some special or above average qualities in comparison with other friends. The qualities normally preferred are: good knowledge, patience to answer, guide when problems faced, show the right path, teach in time, remind something forgotten, help to talk to other friends, entertain at dull and monotonous time etc. These are expected from best friends.
