ELECTION AND THE AFTER EFFECT

Narendra Modi will become Prime Minister for another term with a huge majority. Sri Modi could overcome all the allegations raised against him and his party. Now no Indian has the right to talk about petrol price or note ban or Pulwama or economic slowdown or unemployment or any such issues. There is no space left for these things now. Above all no authorised opposition to raise such subjects in the parliament. This coming term will be a cake walk for the BJP government. The party must be thankful to the wonderful planning and perfect execution of the election campaign by one of the best election campaigners India has seen, Amit Shah.

However Kerala has moved against the national trend.  Congress, as expected, could bag 19 out of the 20 seats. The remaining one seat has gone to the ruling CPIM. Though this huge win by the UDF was not a surprise, the number expected was around 17. At some stage it was thought to be a clean sweep. All the loosing parties have started their own autopsy to find the real cause of the defeat. Amazingly, while almost all parties may succeed in digging out the prime reasons for the set back, CPIM may be the one party that will hide the real cause. Almost all the people including their party members know that recognition and approval of violence by the party is the root cause that forced the voters to reject the party. If the party can speak loudly against violence in any form, they can regain all that is lost and get into new arena too. The party should not forget the fact that their entry into this country was about hundred years ago. Even after such a long time the party is still struggling to retain its national recognition as a political party. The party, in its present state, cannot, even in the wildest dreams, think about forming a government at the centre in another hundred years. Yes, dear comrades, it may be possible ! Just two things ......! Alter the communist theory to suit the contemporary India. Hand over the party leadership to qualified youth. The comrades can be at the helm of affairs very soon.
