DEMOCRACY ON SALE

During half way through the current general election, Election Commission has recovered unaccounted money amounting to Rs 321 crores from political parties from a few states. The money was either being distributed to a selected category of voters or meant for distribution later. It is just not money alone but also 1.62 crores of liquor, 12104 kg of heroin or other brands of narcotics, 12681 kg of ammunition etc. Alas, shortest way to establish  liberty, fraternity and equality! Still we dare to boast that we are the largest 'democracy' in the world.
The above petty distribution may look too small considering a total official expenditure of Rs 1.5 lakh crores for the entire general elections till now.
The same offenders continue to remain as accredited parties despite repeating this offense time and again.
Where the law is hiding itself from the people?
