WE INDIANS MUST TARGET A THREE ZERO ACHIEVEMENT

We are on the top layer of the world in GDP, Agricultural products (top in milk,  and pulses), Industry etc. Above all we are the largest manpower in the world. Despite all these, may be due to miscalculations by successive governments, all that we made for the country could not be equally distributed among the people. While comparing with many countries in the world, per capita Income of our people are much low. There is no meaning for finding reasons for this. We have to plug the holes immediately.

During the run of seven and a half decades we could cross many hurdles and set many milestones and reach the level of most advanced economies of the world. But for one reason or the other we could not raise the per capita income of the people of India to the level of the advanced countries of the world. In other words the great achievements made by the country could not reach the people evenly. We may attain this at the earliest. Here we propose a Three Zero Project to have a quantum leap in our economy. With this the country will reach on top of the world and the people will remain highly contented.

The Three Zero Projects:
1. Zero number of people below poverty line in our country. 2. Zero rate of unemployment in our country. 3. Zero number of illiterates in our country. We must fix a time schedule for each one of these. Once the government plan and target these projects the entire people of the country should come to assist the government for the speedy execution of these.

How to find money for these? Here are the source. Enough money will flow into the government exchequer to complete the Three Zero Projects well in time.
Source 1. There are plenty of black money in our country. Government may announce a proposal that anyone who invest money to the following projects may pay only the basic rate of Income Tax plus a 5% penalty of the  invested amount. They need not reveal the source of income.  Proposed projects: Education, Health, Agricultural development, Infrastructure development, Industries with large employment scope, Industries for exports etc can be included.

Source No 2. All the money deposited in foreign banks outside the country can be transferred into any Indian banks within the country. They too need not reveal the source of income. They may be asked to pay the basic income tax plus a 10% penalty for the entire amount brought in. They too may be given a time limit of one year. Along with this the government may also announce that any money detected after the set time limit the IT rate and the penalty will be doubled and the source of income has to be disclosed.

If these can be managed properly without any element of corruption anywhere we can change the face of the country as well as the people in a short span of time. Do not mix politics into it.
