Normal And Abnormal

Wild  animals killed 637 people in Kerala during the past five years. 17 people lost their lives by elephant attacks in 2023-24. And the killing is still being continued. We have  democratically elected state and central governments to save the people from these dangerous animal attacks. Unfortunately the state government says they don't have the money to deal with the situation. The central government acts as if it is none of their business. What is that the people to do at this red hot hours? Sooner or later shall we find tigers and leopards in our major cities too? K V George 

We all pray God irrespective of our religious faith. Some may get return and some others not. Most of us pray for money, comfort or success. Our prayers should not be confined to words. It must be by action. See prayer always like an action and reaction. For instance you may find a hungry one asking money for food. You have three options with you. Give the one some money or provide a cup of tea and few biscuits or take the one to a hotel and offer the person lavish food. This action of yours determines how the Supreme One respond to your prayer. If you keep this principle in mind when someone approaches you for money, food, cloth or any other form of  help, see it is a mere query from the Great One to you, "Hai, dear! What do you want from me?". Give the answer by your action. Then there will be instant reaction. Just believe that every person coming to you for helping is a blessing of God. The  most satisfying moment of our life would be when some unknown person get contented, remain happy and become peaceful as a result of our action. The  worthiest thing we learn is to have enjoyment and satisfaction while helping others. Our efforts are not ours, but a gift of time. If you have resources, try to provide as much education as possible to a poor child. That satisfaction will remain with you till your last breath. If we get an opportunity to console an isolated patient in a hospital, that would be the best consolation we can have in our own life. K V George

The   photograph appeared in today's news paper (Nov 2023) prompted me to write this, and being posted again. Film actress Kangana Ranaut walking through the public place surrounded by Y plus security personnel. Y category is a type of security consisting of 11 persons including one or two commandos or police personnel. Why this security is needed for Kangana, an ordinary woman, to walk through a public place in India? Because she has expressed her opinion in public about the government. She too must have voted for electing the government. When I say that this world is full of truth, nothing other than truth can be found anywhere, it may be bit confusing for you to believe. On the other hand you may even say that the world is full of untruth or falsity. Now I am raising it by saying that there is no untruth or falsity in the whole universe. Now I am asking you to show me one thing that is not true but false. You may search all over the world to find something that is not true. God has created everything as true only. The words untruth, false, falsity etc have no meaning at all. There is only truth; nothing other than truth in this world. K V George 

Success in life is determined by how one availed the opportunities came to him. All successful people are those who timely availed the opportunities.  Opportunities come to us in different ways.  Taking birth to rich and reputed parents is a big opportunity, but many fail to avail this opportunity. Getting good school, good teachers and good friends is another opportunity got by a few, but here also all cannot avail this. Similarly, in every step of our lives we get opportunities, but either without knowing or availing those some people curse their fate for their sufferings. I believe that opportunities are not created by us it is presented to us. We may call it a divine gift, luck, fate etc. Realise the opportunity and foresee the mighty outcome of it is the first step of success. Then one should move through the path provided without deviating even a little. Opportunities are certainly divine gifts and, therefore, never turn down those. K V George 

Nowhere in the world we may find such amount of orators. Whether it is politics, religion, revolution, advanced methods for poverty removel, liberal economy or any such subject there is no dearth of orators. Listeners are there or not, does not matter but  mike is a must. Since our census papers do not have a column to count the scholars in the state this data is not available. We are also on top in number of meetings! Evening hours one can find meetings at every nook and corner of cities, towns and villages of the state. (This is based on an incident reported some times ago. Now the election it at the door steps and such incidents may be reported about probably more in numbers) As  per the report of a leading Malayalam daily, the Chief Minister of Telangana alleged that a young politician of Kerala is behind the 'Operation Kamala'. The serious allegation involving changing 'stable' of 4 MLAs of the state was a deal of Rs 100 crores. This is the current politics in India. Now, when it would be appeared in the media, according to the conventional Indian political history, all those accused shall come up with a straight 'no'. And the complainant may end up the story there.  Though we in India have more than enough agencies to find out the truth and bring out the culprits on either side into the books no one goes for it. A Malayalam channel is found to have conducting pre-poll survey in the Lok Sabha constituencies of Kerala towards the ensuing parliament election. As per the report published by them in many of the constituencies the projected vote difference between UDF and LDF is about 1% to 2% less for LDF. It shows that nearly about equal amount of voters are in both sides. On the other hand if the LDF can put little more efforts they can win the election. The allegations of corruption made by the media en masse have not reached the target. One may even try to find the following abnormalities in the people. They can be called ignorant. They either do not believe the allegations or they do not find fault in those. Another thing could be that Communism is strongly established in Kerala. It may also be a truth that the considerable number of people of Kerala love their Chief Minister and his family. Most important aspect could be that the opposition party have failed to reach the people. L

Within the Sanctuary of Gods the Prime God is one, in three forms; Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver and Shiva the Destroyer. Lord Vishnu is meaning to have ten  incarnations of which nine have been completed and the tenth - Kalki is yet to appear. Kerala seems to have become the ideal ground for the wild beasts. According to a report by The Hindu dated 24 Feb 2022, the minister Sri A K Saseendran has revealed that 1088 people were killed by wildlife attacks during the past one decade. Who is responsible for this huge number of deaths of poor human beings. If the media reports can be relied neither the Government of Kerala has adequate fund to prevent the trespassing of wild animals into human inhabited area nor they are able to get the Central Government interference in this matter. When both the governments are washing their hands in taking the responsibility of such large number of human killings by wild animals like elephants, tigers, leopards etc the people may approach the judiciary for arranging protection.
