THE BEST FRIEND

Image
When  we say someone is our best friend, such person should certainly have some special or above average qualities in comparison with other friends. The qualities normally preferred are: good knowledge, patience to answer, guide when problems faced, show the right path, teach in time, remind something forgotten, help to talk to other friends, entertain at dull and monotonous time etc. These are expected from best friends. Is there any friends who have such amazing qualities? Yes, there is one! A trustworthy and honest friend! The best Guru after God! The name of that friend is MOBILE PHONE. WHAT HAPPENS TO THE SOUL AFTER DEATH

Image
According to Hinduism the soul after departing from the body may either attain Moksha (Heaven) or take rebirth and continue the cycle of life. Christianity suggests two ways to get oneself cleansed. The prime one is to believe that Jesus Christ has sacrificed Himself for each one of us for the redemption from all punishments. Those who believe the sacrifice for themselves shall be redeemed and become eligible for the kingdom of God. The other option is one has to suffer continuously until the whole negative energy is removed. However Christianity does not open the Kingdom of God for anyone until the final judgement. Early Egyptians who believed in eternal life for the dead preserved their bodies and kept in the Pyramids with a huge supply of items for the daily need. The Chinese before the advent of Budhism believed in an eternal life in ancestral land. However there is one thing in common with both Hinduism and Christianity. The soul will ultimately reach heaven after tota...

WE CAN COUNT THE DAYS

Image
A good engineer after a detailed study, can count the days left for a building. Another, who is well versed in cosmology can do the same thing about our earth. Anyone who knows about his body and all about the surroundings can say this about himself. Everything in this universe is made in accordance with certain law under perfect mathematics. Whether it is light or Galaxy or this little man is governed by the invariable and strong law of this universe. Anyone who can read this law and calculate with no errors can read the days ahead and the final moment with perfect accuracy. There is nothing hidden in the universe. Those who look at the right point can find what is needed. Even our own genes can tell all about ourselves. KV George kvgeorgein@gmail.com

DEMOCRACY - A TRAGIC COMEDY

Democracy came to India as a parady. It is running here as a comody. It may end up as a tragedy. Ballot, ink and human; are the three components of democracy. While the ballots may or may not get the count, the ink may take a few minutes to dry up and another few days to get erased. Alas! The last component, human, get erased instantly and become none for the next five years. For unknown reasons we are proudly proclaiming the whole nonsense as democracy. It is high time that the human components should make necessary corrections in the law book of India through a national referendum. If the so called democrats continue to remain inactive, the day is not far when the ten percent political predators will swallow the  ninety percent of herbivores bulged with sweet dreams.

INDIA - A MIRROR VIEW

We Indians secured freedom over seven decades ago. During this long span of time we have been ruled by different political parties either singularly or jointly. We have wedded to mixed economy and so far no one wanted a divorce. If we compare the development of other countries with ours we can have a mirror view of ours; an image not so healthy and beautiful. A detailed comparison is made in different aspects. Those who look at these seriously can find that the loud speeches made by our politicians are hollow; there is no substances in those. What we Indians have been taught is to obey and follow the politicians carrying their respective flags. Of late we have allowed political parties to rule our educational institutions too. We are now giving preference to politics than knowledge. At the entrance of some of our renowned educational institutions we can find boards saying, 'Welcome to Red Fort'. Neither the government nor the management of the institution nor the police nor the...
