ARE WE MAKING A GARBAGE DUMP HERE IN OUR COUNTRY
According to World Population Review for 2024 Denmark ranked the cleanest country in the world. Other top countries in cleanness are UK, Finland, Sweden, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Malta, Slovenia and Iceland. As per the list of most unclean countries (that is, in the reverse order) of 2021, among 195 countries the most unclean country (s.no.195) is Bangladesh and the second most unclean country (s.no.194) is India. Every Indian should be shameful to see this pathetic position of our country. We have state and central governments with many departments to keep our country (as entrusted to each department) clean. As per budget allocation for 2022-23 there was Rs 5,000 crores for Swatch Bharat Abhiyan and the revised estimate for 2023-24 is Rs 7,192 crores.
