IS MANIPUR SPREADING INTO UP?

If the videos and whatsapp messages spreading are correct, Manipur is being brought into, I repeat brought into, UP.  What was seen,  a large church being attacked by a group of Hindus and the images worshipped are brought out and damaged. After seeing this, naturally one get the feeling rather get convinced that what is being happened in Manipur is not a tussle between two tribes; Meitei and Kuki. It could be neither seen as ethenic violence or tribal dispute. It is certainly a brawl between Hindus and Christians. And it could have originated at somewhere else.

Most confusing is that even after two months violence killing over hundred people, injuring a few hundreds and displacing several thousands, no concerned authority has taken the trouble of calling a meeting of the leaders of the fighting groups. It further confirms, therefore, that the tussle is meant for a purpose.

I am again reluctant to believe that it is an open fight between Hindus and Christians. What harm Christian has done against Hindus in India? May not be even to say one. Then why the legitimately built churches are damaged? Afterwards will you destroy the schools and colleges, hospitals and the houses constructed and given to the poor people across the country by the same Christians? Are the Hindus afraid that Christians may become more populated than them? Need not worry on this. The population of Christians were 2.3% in 1951 and it remained same in 2011(2.3%) and 2021(2.3%). Christians always did good for this country and the people. Where we lacked for you to accuse us? Please spell out so that we shall correct the same. 

I appeal to every citizen of this country to become helpful to one another and love each other. I also would like to pray the Government of India and their political parties to show justice towards us and allow us to continue to serve the people of the country. I would like to stress the fact that when other countries are uniting their people to develop their countries, we Indians unite our people to destroy our country. We may look at our neighbour China. They have moved decades ahead of us. We prefer playing politics with religion by taking the lives of our fellow beings.
