CALL TO THE WEALTHY NATIONS T0 EXTEND HELP TO THE POOR COUNTRIES

As per GNI per capita of 2020 the poorest countries in the world in the top 10 ranking are Burundi, Somalia, Mozambique, Madagascar, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Liberia, Niger and DR of Congo. (Different survey suggests changes in the order of the ranking) Their pci in US$ stands betwee n $270 and $550. Population of these countries put together comes to about 265 million people.

On the other hand the top ten richest countries in the world according to the World Bank data as per the GDP are USA, China, Japan, Germany, UK, India, France, Italy, Canada and South Korea.

We may now find the richest countries as per GDP (nominal) per Capita ranking. Those  Luxembourg, Switzerland, Ireland, Norway, USA, Denmark, Singapore, Iceland, Qatar and Australia. As per the statistics of 2020 the PCI of these countries stood between $116,921and $52,905.

The difference between the former and latter countries are quite huge. If we look at this matter in a humanitarian angle it can be found that the above poor countries are in a pathetic state. A photograph took the international attention recently showed that a child was lying on the wayside and a vulture watching from close by for the kid to die so that it can eat the poor one.   My question here to the international community including the UN is do the rich countries hold the responsibility to feed the fellow humans in those poor countries. I would like to submit the following sugges for all concerned governments and their people including all concerned international organizations.

1. Two rich countries from the above groups may adopt two poor countries from the above list.  They may also include one or two rich countries from the lower ranking to their group. They all together can provide necessary help to these poor countries to raise their per capita income substantially so that they can feed themselves.

2. These rich countries may also seek financial aid as well as material support from other countries across the world for this purpose. 

I am sure that people from most countries will come ahead to associate themselves in the noble cause.

3. Investors from all over the world may be allowed to set up industries there. Those interested in developing agriculture
