Slender pitcher plant This plant has pitcher shaped leaves and insects are attracted to these leaves. Venus flytraps  Venus flytraps are one of the rare plants that can move quickly to trap bugs and sometimes small mammals for digestion. Spider snacks Tiny hairs on their clamshell like traps cause to snap shut when triggered. Mucous trap These plants move relatively slowly, as they depend on a sticky mucous to trap bugs. Murderous maze     This snake-like beauty hides a pit of horrors. Lured into the pitcher by sweet-smelling nectar, bugs

Image

OUTBURST OF ANGER AND LUST IN AFGHANISTAN

Image
What  is happening in Afghanistan is nothing but bare exhibition of human nature in its wildest form. A group of people wearing almost similar dress getting a woman, who too were in the same dress code as prescribed by these men, to a public place and one man preached or prayed for some time loudly, all others were silently watching the show and suddenly the man lifted the gun and fired at the head of the woman and she fell dead. How can one do like this in the name of God?  People are forcefully evacuated from their own houses in the villages and the men are shot down and the women including girls of 12 and 13 years old were taken away and raped by many men. Such brutal exhibition is taking place in a country with a population of 3.7 crores and 790 crores people across the world are watching the show. Most pathetic aspect is that these viewers include UN, UNICEF, NATO, EU, G20,.ICC etc. Further to these, there are a good number of women's organisations in the world to

ARE YOU AN UNEMPLOYED ENGINEERING GRADUATE?

Image
By  the end of 2019 there were about 36.26 lakhs people remain unemployed in Kerala. According to a study covering 2,600 engineering graduates by the All India Professional Congress, Kerala chapter, it is hard to find for engineering graduates a job suits their qualifications. The study reveals that 25% engineering graduates are unemployed and 66% attend to non-engineering jobs. In the case of salary  domestic servants in Kerala get better salary than entry level engineers. Lack of industries in Kerala is the prime constraint for this. No government has programs to address this issue in the near future. Hence they themselves have to find ways and means to make them engaged to find a good earning. You may be able to find many avenues towards this direction. Some can be suggested here. Initially about five to six of you or may be more may join together and draw a project. Any of the following can be looked into. 1. Non conventional energy. 2. Flowing industrial waste to water

America with about 1/4 population in comparison with ours reached the top of the medal tally with 39 Gold, 41 Silver and 33 Bronze making a total of 113 medals. China with a population of about 145 crores came second on the list with 38 Gold 32 Silver and 18 Bronze making the total to 88. Japan stands 3rd in the list with 58 medals; 27 Gold, 14 Silver and 17 Bronze. The population of Japan is about 13 crores. Italy with a population of over 6 crores could bag 40 medals including 10 Gold. A tiny nation like New Zealand with a population below 50 lakhs approximately could bag 20 medals including 7 Gold and came 13th in the list. At this rate of 20 medals per 50 lakhs population, India could have won '5,560' medals! Why Indians are not able to take more models in such international competition
