UNKNOWN THINGS FROM ALBERT EINSTEIN'S LIFE

  (Albert Einstein at different ages)

Einstein never failed in maths as a child.

Einstein renounced his German citizenship in 1896 and enrolled in Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich. There he had a passionate love affair with Mileva Maric, a Serbian physicist. They had two sons after the marriage and a daughter, Lieseri before the marriage. Einstein never talked about this illegitimate daughter in his family. No one could trace the daughter and remains mystery even now. There is a book written by Michele Zackheim titled: 'Einstein's Daughter: The Search for Lieseri".

Despite his brilliance it took nine years for him to get a job in academia.

As part of the divorce settlement Einstein gave his wife his Nobel Prize. After this he had new relationship with his cousin Elsa and had married her. She remained with him till her death in 1936.

Shortly before 1933 Einstein reached US and took position at the Institute of Advanced Studies Princeton, New Jersey. His support or pacifist, civil rights and left wing causes had drawn suspicion from FBI. He was suspected as Soviet spy and listened all his phone calls. They even investigated that he was building a death ray. When he died in 1955 FBI file had total of 1800 pages.

When head of state Chaim Weizmann died in 1952, the Israeli government offered Albert Einstein to appoint  as the nation's second president.
