WASTE MANAGEMENT - THE BEST WAY

We have been seeking remedies for large number of issues for quite some time. Our gray haired experts could not resolve any of these issues despite their hard efforts.. We have enough money and enough other resources to sort out the problems, but the result is not applaudable. While looking at these undying issues let us not forget the fact that we have unmeasurable and untiring intelligence in waiting, that too, one of the best in the world. W e should not hesitate to hand over the most complex issues.to our youth. They are very intelligent, they are very powerful and they are massive in strength. Let us first ask them to find a solution for waste management.This is the one issue the authorities concerned are accusing one another for their failures, but till now no one could offer a reasonable solution. DEMOCRACY TO BE REFINED

As in any other system of governments democracy too has its own deficiencies. The most significant discrepancy of democracy is -' ruling by the elected from the legislature and simultaneously ruling by the people from the streets'. A government elected by the majority of the voters can be brought down by the minority opposition by acting from the streets is a very dangerous expression in democracy. Democracy has become like a stone left the catapult. A braham Lincoln on November 19, 1863 in the famous Gettysburg address defined democracy "...... a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal .......... and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth." ROAD ACCIDENTS - BRING DOWN TO ZERO

According to Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Govt. of India, there were 4,90,383 road accidents in India during 2012 resulting in 1,38,258 deaths and causing injuries to 5,09,667 people. These numbers translate into nearly one road accident every minute, and one road accident death every 4 mts. More than half of the victims are in the economically active age group of 25-65 years, i.e., the loss of the main brad winner. R oad traffic accidents are amenable to remedial action like traffic management, design and quality of road infrastructure, application of intelligent transport systems, safer vehicles, law enforcement, effective and quick accident response and care etc. This could become possible with the involvement of health, transport and police. A ccording to World Health Organisation over 1.24 million people killed world wide caused by road accidents in the year 2010.
